The fiction book, Time-Out in the series Athlete vs Mathlete, by W.C Mack, is a great read for kids who like all sports especially basketball. I wish it had been just a little longer! I wasn’t ready for it to end!. He does some growing too and I am satisfied with the ending.
He took longer for me to warm up to, but he’s a very realistic character a lot of my basketball boys will relate to. He gains confidence, uses his strength to his advantage, and becomes a good coach. I loved everything about Russ’s story in this third book.
